Every year, one of the most spectacular sights – the Champions Boat League – is witnessed on Kerala’s wonderful backwaters. Watching the gorgeous snake boats (Chundan Vallom) move through the emerald backwaters creates an aura of passion and zeal.
The event is held at 12 different locations throughout the state. The primary goal of this yearly sporting event is to increase the popularity of Kerala among international tourists and to promote Kerala’s traditional festivities.
